Accurate program and service records are an important part of maintaining funding eligibility as a provider and for the families receiving services. DEC-funded providers are required to use several data systems to report about program services, enrollment and attendance, professional development, and vacancies.

How Your Data is Used
Information collected helps the program team understand where there are opportunities to grow or where they can best play a supporting role. Additionally, the information helps to communicate to our partners and the city the great and valuable work that promotes early childhood development, health, and education. Finally, as stewards of public funds, it is DEC’s responsibility to ensure the funds are being used as intended and maximize the community impact when possible.
