Supporting Families in Considering Evaluations and Referrals [English]

This virtual training is designed for early childhood educators and other professionals who support families.

Participants will learn strategies for having thoughtful, strengths-based conversations with families about developmental concerns, evaluations, and referrals. The training will explore how to:

• Communicate concerns respectfully and clearly
• Partner with families in decision-making
• Reduce barriers that may prevent families from accessing services
• Navigate the referral process
• Connect families with helpful community resources and supports
