Preschool TK Learning Foundations Approaches to Learning

Young children’s success is not only built on what they know, but also how they learn. The California Preschool/TK Learning Foundations (PTKLF) Approaches to Learning strand highlights the attitudes, behaviors, and skills that help children engage, persist, and succeed as learners. Come and learn how:

· How children develop initiative, curiosity, and confidence as learners

· Strategies that support attention, persistence, and problem-solving

· The role of relationships, environments, and intentional teaching in fostering learning

· Connections between Approaches to Learning and future academic and social success

Participants will receive the Preschool TK Learning Foundations and other materials.

Light breakfast and lunch will be served.
